Let’s Talk About Healthy Food in Ottawa Schools

Ottawa is full of interesting and innovative ways of teaching and learning about good food in schools.  In celebration of National Farm to School month in Canada we are holding a School Food Forum to talk about all different facets of food in schools.

Please join us at the 2016 School Food Forum to connect with other school food advocates, teachers, students, parents, chefs, agencies and farmers. Here is some what you can expect at the 2016 School Food Forum:

  • Meet service providers and learn about new initiatives;

  • Share your school food needs;

  • Learn about exciting projects throughout the city

  • Connect with other people interested in creating healthy school food environments

If you want to get started celebrating Farm to School Month enter your school’s Farm to School story for a chance to win $1500.  Visit Sustain Ontario for more information.
