Organic records maintain the organic integrity of farm products throughout the production process and require certain systems in place.

Delivered by Delia Elkin, an experienced inspector for many certification agencies in the region, the workshop will provide a clear overview of the Canadian Organic Standards, Permitted Substance Uses, and overall requirements farms need to have in place to achieve and maintain organic certification.  Please bring any specific questions you have about inputs, required documentation, etc. as these can all be answered.

This workshop is appropriate for all farmers (with large or small operations) interested in organic certification—whether you are a conventional farmer considering a transition for all or part of your operation, an established growers using organic practices who are interested in getting certified, or a new grower starting up.

Please register at administration@justfood.ca .  For questions, please call 613-699-6850 x 10.

If you aren’t able to register ahead of time, you are still welcome to attend.
