2026 Fall Farm Fest

In partnership with:

Gloucester Community Food Centre and the Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre

Join us at the Just Food Community Farm for our 5th annual Fall Farm Fest,
located on unceded, unsurrendered Anishinaabe Algonquin Territory.

Enjoy live music, wagon ride farm tours, buy fresh produce at the Just Food Farm Stand, enjoy a variety of free activities, bring your own picnic, and buy prepared, fresh and preserved foods from local vendors.

Free to attend and full of fun, there’s something for everyone!

  • Wagon Rides and Farm Tours – or walk around the farm and see what’s happening!

  • Nature museum & scavenger hunt 
  • Busog Buns – Stuffed Filipino Pandesal (think of a baked bun covered with bread crumbs)

  • Sheepdog Grill  –  (meat – lamb burgers and sausages)

  • The Hot Pepper Lady – Vegetables and Jollof rice (orders can be placed ahead of time by sending an email to info@thehotpepperlady.ca)

  • Triple Jae KitchenHaitian-style seasoning marinade made of fresh vegetables and herbs to elevate dishes’ flavour 

  • Forêt Capitale Forest – Jams, seedlings

  • Chi Garden Ecological Farm and Fermentation Kitchen – Vegetables and preserves.

  • Women Warriors’ Healing Garden and Green’s Creek Donkey and Mule Sanctuary 

  • Capital Bees – honey, beeswax products, condiments, and a few bee themed trinkets

  • 7 Hues Eco Farm – preserves, chili oil, fermented chili sauce and kimchi.

  • Earth Heart Organics – Vegetables

  • Nanabush Food Forests – Selling preserves and products from food forests and likely some food-bearing plants/shrubs.

Looking to grow your skills and get inspired? Don’t miss this incredible lineup of free workshops at Fall Farm Fest:

Workshops run approximately every 45 minutes throughout the event. Drop in anytime – no registration required!

The Just Food Community Farm is located at 2391 Pepin Court in Blackburn Hamlet, Ottawa.

We offer free parking onsite. You can also get to the farm by public transit: bus route #25/ LRT: Blair , or by bike.

Accessibility info:

We have an accessible lift and washroom in the Big Red Barn

Our pavilion, where most vendors are located, is paved, and will have a rubberized pathway from the parking lot for access

Our roads are compacted gravel with mixed terrain and sloping

We will have staff and volunteers on site that will be available for support

Music will be playing throughout the day, one generator may be running, please notify a member of staff or a volunteer if you are in need of locating a quiet space

We have 2 portapotties on site (in addition to accessible washroom in barn)

Workshops will be held in the Big Red Barn, which is accessed either via a set of stairs leading up one flight, or via an accessible lift.

Start-up Farm Program

Just Food established the Start-Up Farm Program to support new farmers in the Ottawa region. By offering access to land, shared infrastructure/equipment, and training, the program aims to enable more people in this region to start their own successful farm business.
