Learn about different ways to access farmland and create land use agreements that work for both farmers and landowners. This session also covers what to consider when seeking land or welcoming a farm tenant.

Kick-start your farm business with this 15-hour training series!
(English in September; Arabic & French sessions begin in October)

Who: Open to participants from Ottawa, Eastern Ontario & Western Quebec
Cost: $200 (Pay-what-you-can spots available)

Facilitated by Noel Dhingra, Moe Garahan, Simon Neufeld & other regional farmers

    Topics for this day include: business planning, organic soil fertility practices, land management practices, infrastructure overview, and more!

Start-up Farm Program

Just Food established the Start-Up Farm Program to support new farmers in the Ottawa region. By offering access to land, shared infrastructure/equipment, and training, the program aims to enable more people in this region to start their own successful farm business.
