ART EXHIBIT

A collection of new paintings by Daniel Buckles, some of which you can view here, brings the sensibilities of Japanese art materials–sumi ink, rice paper and scroll-making–to the treescapes of Lake Temagami, Ontario’s premiere Old Growth Forest. The work invites you to reflect on our connection to nature, and the realization that there is no separation between the parts of life.

Proceeds support the work of Just Food and the People’s Official Plan.

Start-up Farm Program

Just Food established the Start-Up Farm Program to support new farmers in the Ottawa region. By offering access to land, shared infrastructure/equipment, and training, the program aims to enable more people in this region to start their own successful farm business.
